B1 Flat Organisational Structures

Managers and supervisors have large spans of control and as a result, there are fewer levels in the organisational structure. As there are fewer levels, senior staff and floor staff can have more direct contact and teamwork is encouraged rather than ‘micro management’ due to supervisors having larger teams to manage.
